Founded in 2018 by the CEO of DayBlink Consulting, BearUp was built on and continues to embody years of strategic management, consulting, and industry knowledge and expertise. Today, we are a leading staffing consultancy, wholly owned by DayBlink and an integral component of DayBlink Ventures strategic ecosystem.
We deploy industry experts to organizations in the telecommunications, healthcare, and finance sectors, among others, empowering our clients with the people and tools to execute a myriad of strategic and technical initiatives. At BearUp, however, placement is just the beginning. It continues with regular check-ins from our team throughout the life of each engagement. This is just one part of our recipe for success, and is why we have been able to form such lasting relationships and drive further value for our clients.
Founder & CEO
Michael Wong is a strategist, agilist, entrepreneur and leader. Over the last 20 years in management consulting, Michael has successfully supported clients in mergers and acquisitions, operational improvement, corporate communication, cyber security, and many other strategic initiatives.
Frustrated with the outdated models that enveloped the consulting landscape, Michael saw an opportunity to disrupt the industry. In 2013, DayBlink Consulting was born. As founder and CEO, Michael leads all aspects of the firm’s strategy and operations, and continues to deliver results on key initiatives for DayBlink clientele.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Michael is a devoted alumnus and classroom contributor of his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a BBA degree in Accountancy. In 2009, Michael was elected President of the Notre Dame Alumni Association’s Board of Directors, representing more than 130,000 alumni worldwide. He also serves as member of the university’s Board of Trustees.
Director of HR
Kim oversees all HR functions for BearUp like employee development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and more, all while championing our commitment to reward value.
Melissa brings over four years of recruiting experience to the BearUp team. She has worked on searches across many industries, sectors and geographies, providing full-life cycle and thorough recruiting.
Phillip started at PwC Atlanta, performing financial reviews for leading insurance and technology companies. Prior to joining BearUp, Philip was also a accounting and advisory consultant at FTI.
